Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Ryan always does an excellent job fixing my ten year old vehicle. Even when the job is difficult and parts are almost impossible to find, Ryan doesnβt give up. His prices are reasonable because heβs a trustworthy person. Sometimes there is a few days wait until he can fit you into his schedule, but thatβs only because heβs so good at what he does!

These guys are on point! They're upfront and honest too. They'll tell you what's wrong and then make it right. I've only felt this comfortable with one other shop, in all the various places I've brought my vehicles to. They do it all too!! I recommend calling ahead of time, they're booking out a few days for minor stuff, and weeks for major engine and tranny work. Top notch shop!
